The enscription at the bottom left reads: My reverend master, I printed this without delay from my bronze plates designed by the hand of the Florentine Giovanni Antonio Dosio the city Rome, Queen of all cities and all lands and all peoples, such as it appears at this time so that she comes forth into the light more fully. It is published dedicated to your name because I take you to have always been most fond of this city, and accordingly I give, I devote, and I deliver to you this publication. Be well, remembering Bartolomeo Faleti always most attentive to your name. At Rome, on the First of January 1561. Sebastiano Re de Chioggia engraved it in bronze.
